Follea begins with the visionary Daniel Hafid.
Educated in Europe, multilingual, and himself the son of a renowned hair entrepreneur, Daniel has earned his business savvy and expertise from the warehouses to the executive offices of the hair industry.
After joining his father in the building and shaping of René of Paris, Daniel spent more than a decade manufacturing hair additions for the same top echelon companies he now stands among. In 1999 Daniel moved his work to China and began mentoring a small circle of talented artisans. Now numbering over 600, Follea’s manufacturing team is the most celebrated in added hair today.
This was only the beginning of Follea’s vision. In the spring of 2008, Daniel enlisted the expertise of Michael Leigh to spearhead the opening of Follea USA in Beverly Hills, California, a location befitting the vanguard of hair couture. A serial entrepreneur with a 30-year winning track record in fields as diverse as advertising and high tech, Michael has been applying his impressive business acumen to create a loyal following for Follea’s trademark products. In just a few short years Michael has helped Follea grow into the world’s premier luxury hair brand.
